Date header on column formatting ########

Okay, this is a dumb question, but one that's bugging me. I send a daily report and each column has a date header in MM/DD/YYYY format.

Most of the office is Mac users, but my boss is a PC user. So of course my boss is the one with the problem.

When she opens the document, the date headers look like "########". When she expands the file, they show properly, but I have hidden columns in the report and once she sees those, she gets confused and thinks the last column is today's date.

Is there a way to set the columns to ensure that this won't occur for her when she opens it? It doesn't happen for any of the Mac users, or for me (and I'm a PC user - why only her?).

TIA!

did you try this before sending the file....

Autofit all column widths by clicking the button at the left of Column A and above Row 1, then in the Home section...

Within Cells.....Format--->Column AutoFit Selection
