Date Help Needed

Good morning everyone,

I need help with a formula. Here is the situation:

If Cell A1 has a date --> I want B1 to = A1 plus 180 days. (that part is easy)

This continues down both columns.

The problem is if A1 is blank it tosses a date in A2.

I need something that will leave A2 blank until a date is entered into A1.

Can anyone help me .. please.
