Date issue

I'm having users input dates through 3 drop-downs into string variables: SNTDay, SNTMonth & SNTYear - and there is a string variable that constructs the date thus: SNTDate = SNTDay & "/" & SNTMonth & "/" & SNTYear

However, when it puts the result into a sheet it is coming out as 08/03/2010 not 03/08/2010 - the formats have been set correctly in the sheet and my time zone is correct in control panel even when I output the SNTDate to a MsgBox it is correct but not when it goes into the sheet.

I'm stumped!

Excel Facts

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
the Type of the variable should be Date (not string)
but iven if this cuase not problem - did you try with a date more than 12
it looks like you construct it correct once then vba ( or excel reoders it again)
