I have returned to Access after a long break and using Access 2013 for the first time
I have set up a table with a date field and a date picker but when I pick the date (Shows correctly as the right month and year in the date picker) I get this showing in the field
23/01/192323 I have the field set to short date and use the english system for date dd/mm/yy
The 23/01/19 is correct but where is the 2323 coming from?

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
How are you formatting the field?

I'd probably just start over on this one. Sounds like a formatting problem but who knows. You might just remove the format completely to see what you get. Or remove the column completely and recreate it and see what you get. Test as you go. Don't really know what you mean by set up a field with a date picker. My experience with recent Access versions is that all date fields have date pickers by default so it's not really something you have to set up (unless you are using some third party code or library for your date picker).
