DATE PROBLEM

In cell A6 it shows the date like 09/26/02 and in cell A7 09/27/02 and in cell A8 09/28/02 and so on. The last cell is A23. The dates change every time after copying after the period is done. So I would like to let it copy the date from cell A6 and the date from cell A23 to 1 cell and show it the periodlike this in cell B4: 09/26 - 10/15. This cell can't change after that though. I hope someone can help me. Thanks

the formula would be

=TEXT(A6,"mm/dd")& " - "&TEXT(A23,"mm/dd")

(you should check that correct dates are in the respecitive cells)

To prevent the information from changing, Edit Copy and Edit Paste Special as Value.

The formula will be replaced with the Text.

You could use the macros recorder and record the above. Then assign the macro to a button or shortcut key.
