I am trying to filter by dates in a query based on 2 criterias.

If Customer Name = XYZ Then use all dates after 3/21/2011
All other Customers use dates after 4/3/2011

Column Names:
Customer Name
Ship Date

So I only need all dates after 4/3/2011 Except XYZ which needs to be 3/21/2011.

Any help is much appreciated.

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Try this:

SELECT tblShipping.Customer, tblShipping.ShipDate
FROM tblShipping
WHERE (((tblShipping.Customer)="XYZ") AND ((tblShipping.ShipDate)>#3/21/2011#)) OR (((tblShipping.Customer)<>"XYZ") AND ((tblShipping.ShipDate)>#4/3/2011#));
