I have an employee who seems to be incapable of entering todays date correctly in to excel. Obviously killing her would seem to be the simplest solution, however i dont really want to clean up afterwards.

So....

Is there a way of producing a button, which she could click - when she on a certain cell - which would enter the todays date automatically?

The date cant change once it's entered, so i cant just put in NOW, etc. & there are multiple cells on one line which may or may not require the date.

Before you say, she wouldnt remember =NOW even if i glued it to her head....

THX guys.

Yes you could create a special menu button and associate it with a macro. The macro is then:

Code:
Sub EnterDate()

        activecell=format(Date(),"dd-mmm-yy")

End Sub

Of course you can format the date how you want
