Just trying to get a function or some vba code to find out if 2 dates cover a certain date (7-9-2007) glad to give more information if you need it.

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)

Hi Peter thanks for your reply I will keep this one in mind for the future, I ended up using auto filter for both coulmns row is greater than date of interest -1 and row 2 is less than date of interest +1, but your formula looks neat
