I can't find an answer to this question, sorry if it's buried somewhere in threads.

I want to just change the date in a cell without changing the time: EX: my cell looks like this but with different times: 12/29/2020 07:00 . I want to change to 01/05/2021 07:00 I only want to change the date in each cell and not the time.

The only way I found to use the Replace function is when the cell has a text format. My format is a custom format: mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm so the replace function doesn't find any matches.

does this make sense, and is there an easy way to do this that I'm missing?

THANK YOU!

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Hi & welcome to MrExcel.

Excel Formula:

I feel really silly not seeing that, but it totally works. I have different dates, they aren't always a week apart but I can calculate how many days apart they are and use this simple formula. For this particular project it works. THANKS!!!
