How can I fill in a series of dates like every Mon and Wed for a whole year. I can get the Mon and Wed but how do I get the date series to fill. Like 1/1/05 is Mon then 1/3/05 is Wed, then the date series fills to the next week.

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Enter in the first Monday. Then enter in the first Wednesday. In the cell next to Wednesday, enter in 7+(cell reference of the first Monday), and do the same in the cell next to that. Then copy those to formulas out as far as you want them. Make sense? Or were you looking for something else?

You could also:

1) Put the first Wednesday in the first cell (I think it's 1/3/2005, not 1/1/2005) and the first Friday in the second cell.
2) Select both cells.
3) Put the cursor over the bottom right hand corner of the second cell so the cursor changes to a +
4) RIGHT click and drag down
5) Release the right mouse button and select "Fill Weekdays"
