Is there anyway after you sort date on a spreadsheet and add information to that data, to restore the information back to its original format with the changes? I have large spreadsheets that are given to me in a specific format. I usually take this info and sort to by part number to input addtional information about the part. Once I completed entering the information, I would like to restore the information to it's original state with the added information. Can anyone HELP!! Regards, Kintantay

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.

Put a new column in front of column A. Put 1, 2, 3, down all the cells in the new column A, and put Sort as the heading...

Do your thing.

Sort column A, then delete column A.
