Date Stamp Macro

Looking for a macro that enters the current date on a specific colmn.

example
If I am in cell C10 I would like a macro that enters the date in cell F10

maybe something like this in the sheet where you want this to happen:

    With Target
        If .Column = 3 Then
            .Offset(, 3) = Date
        End If
