Hi everyone. I have a column of dates but they aren't exactly continuous or sequential. Is there any way to convert those dates into just day names? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

You could format the relevant cells as ddd or, say, ddd dd/mm/yy

Here's a formula

=CHOOSE(WEEKDAY(DC4,1),"Sunday","Monday","Tuesday","Wednesday","Thursday","Friday","Saturday")
