I have the following outputs into a column:

Fri, 29 Aug 2014 10:57:16 Europe/London
Thu, 04 Sep 2014 10:15:19 Europe/London
Thu, 04 Sep 2014 11:06:15 Europe/London
Thu, 04 Sep 2014 11:19:19 Europe/London
Thu, 04 Sep 2014 12:07:57 Europe/London
Thu, 04 Sep 2014 13:45:39 Europe/London

I want to turn each into a date DD-MM-YYYY

Can someone steer me in the right direction please?

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
This works

=SUBSTITUTE(MID(A1,6,11)," ","-")+0
and copy down

format cells as dates of course

Try

=DATEVALUE(MID(A1,6,2)&"/"&MID(A1,9,3)&"/"&MID(A1,13,4))

Format as Date.
