I have the following outputs into a column:

Thu, 04 Sep 2014 11:06:15 Europe/London

Thu, 04 Sep 2014 11:19:19 Europe/London

Thu, 04 Sep 2014 12:07:57 Europe/London

Thu, 04 Sep 2014 13:45:39 Europe/London

I want to turn each into a date DD-MM-YYYY Can someone steer me in the right direction please?

and copy down

format cells as dates of course

Try

=DATEVALUE(MID(A1,6,2)&"/"&MID(A1,9,3)&"/"&MID(A1,13,4))

Format as Date.
