Hi Everyone,

I recently checked out the Datedif Function and this is so close to what I need that it's frustrating the heck out of me because it won't go quite far enough. I need a function that will return the time between two dates down to seconds but still report the difference in years, months, days, Hours, Minutes and seconds... (normal timestamp)

For some reason subtracting the earlier date from the later date is not giving me the results I need as I am then converting that time into milliseconds to do some further time manipulation and calculations.

I have searched and searched the internet and can only find the differance in business hours but this is not what I need at all.

If anyone can give me a hand it would be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Try subtracting the later date from the earlier date.

i.e. 1/11/2005-1/1/2005

Also try formating the result as seconds only under custom?
