I am using a macro to
OPEN
and then adjust a txt file
I have no problem with that
What I am having issue with is the "dates" turn around when I run the macro??
EG: The date there is 1st August 2011 (1/9/11)
when I run the macro, it turns to 9/1/11
????

When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Welcome to the forum,

Dates used in VBA usually are constructed in the American format. But from your thread it isn't clear what you are doing. Can you expand on this, show your code or snip of code where you are refering to dates, or sample text file with the dates in.

By the way 1st August 2011 would be (01/08/2011)
