I have a data set with filters that groups dates by year, month, and then the actual date. When I create a pivot table the filter option is every individual date. I thought there was a way for the pivot dropdown to do the same year/mo grouping. What am I missing?

If you have dates as pivot row labels then you have a bit more flexibility, but a pivot filter only appears to use exact field contents.
