Hi,

I am not even sure how to search this. I can find COUNTIF statements but they re only good to tell me how many days fall between before the 20th.

Sorry if this is a dimwit question!

Thanks in advance!!! :)

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
I am not sure about your question. I assume that you want to add costs before the 20th. If so, you can use the following formula:

=SUMIFS(M:M,K:K,"<="&"20/8/2018")

Kind regards

Saba

Hi, Saba thank you. Yes maybe my question is not great. That is exactly it. A row has a Cost (£) and the date that it happens. What I need to do is now how many costs are before a certain date. Ideally 20th of each month, but I can manually change that. Unfortunately the formula above just returns a zero.

Appreciate you trying though for me! THANK YOU!!!:cool:
