I want to be able to enter a date, and then have a separate column that formulates a new date which is three business days subsequent to to the original date. Is that possible?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Check out the WORKDAY function in Excel help, there are instructions and examples there. Note that you need to have the Analysis ToolPak Add-In which comes with Excel installed and selected, if you don't already.

Hi saba123
Welcome to the board

You may use

=Workday(A1,3)

You can also use an optional third parameter that defines the holidays in you country.

If the function is not available, enable the Analysis ToolPak in Tools>Add-ins

Hope this helps
