Hey.. I want something that would automatically replace a date like : 12/12/2012 with dd= 12 &mm= 12 &yy=2012 .. Any suggestions ??

No .. I will try to explain it further .. Im doing an invoice sheet .. Above there is a place for date .. I will write for example : 30/10/2011
And at the end of the invoice i have : Dollar rate calculated as Bank dd= 30 &mm= 10 &yy=2011 is watever
What i want is when i place the date above .. it would appear automatically at the end of the invoice .. Like this .. dd=11 &mm=10 &yy= 2011

Do you want this literal string:

dd=11 &mm=10 &yy= 2011

What is dd? Is that the day of the month? Based on your sample date wouldn't dd = 30?

In Message #3 you said...

"Above there is a place for date .. I will write for example : 30/10/2011"

and now in your previous message you say...

"When i enter the normal date "30/10/2011" anywhere"

So which is it... is there a certain cell for the date (it's an invoice, so one would think there is) or did you really mean for it to react to a date typed anywhere? And where is this dd=etc. piece of text supposed to go?

If you have a specific cell for your date (like Biff assumed A2 to be), then here is an alternate formula for you to consider...

=TEXT(A2,"\d\d=d &\m\m=m &\y\y=yyyy")
