Hi,

Not sure if this is possible. I have currently working the below formula:

Revised MAD Measure:=AVERAGEX(DISTINCT(FAReportInput[SKU]),FAReportInput[Revised MAD Calc])

This essentially in my workbook takes the results of a calculation (the revised MAD calc) and calculates the results as an average across all individual SKUs - the key here is it takes each SKU as a distinct value and result. Now my data currently calculates at weekly level but I do have a montly descriptors with data available to use - FAReport[MONTH],FAReport[WEEK],FAReport[YEAR],

If i just use the month column in my pivot table it aggreagates all the data for the calculation acrosss the month but I want to get the average weekly result across the month. To be clearer, I want it to do the calcualtion above working out at SKU level, then average these across the week as it is currently doing and then average those weeks across the month. Can this be done?

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Hi,

Thanks to anyone that looked at this - I have figured it out now. It was simply a case of adding another measure:

Monthly MAD Measure:=AVERAGEX(DISTINCT(FAReportInput[WEEK_NUMBER]),[Original MAD Measure])

Should have thought more about it before I came to the board!
