Hi
I have the table below and I want to find the day different between today - DoB. So I used Days()
I highlighted cells C2:C12 and then typed this formula in C2

C2=DAYS(B2:B20-A2:A20)

Then tried to press CTRL+SHIFT+Enter
or Ctrl +Enter
or Enter
all did not work, I am using 365. So I thought excel 365 you do not need array formula anymore. But I also tried to do that formula as an array but it did not work. How can I do that as one shot? I can do Days(B2-A2) and then use auto fill but I thought I can do array formula as well. Thank you very much.

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
It worked. Thank you very much. Just one more question, I highlighted C2:C12 then I typed

C2=DAYS(B2:B20,A2:A20)

Then I press CTRL+ENTER and I got the right result

My question: would you call that an array function? because I heard from ExcelIsFun that excel 365, no need to press CTRL+Enter+shift anymore. Thank you once again.

Depends on whether you have the Dynamic Array functions, if you do just enter =DAYS(B2:B20,A2:A20) in C2 & it will spill down.
