Hi All

I have a workbook with 100 worksheets in it how would I on opening this workbook ensure that no worksheets are active?

Thanks

Colin

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Hi

I need them all visible, its just that when I need to print some of them I select the worksheets that need printing, I then print all active sheets. When I close the workbook and reopen it later the same sheets are still active. So I thought I would try to have a macro that deactivated all worksheets on opening.

Do you mean you print all selected sheets?

There must be one active sheet as far as I'm aware, and only one. I don't think you can deactivate every sheet.

Ah OK that sounds about right how would I then just activate 1 worksheet only called Summary on workbook open.

Put a .Activate for that sheet in Workbook_Open.

Or in Workbook_BeforeSave.
