I have found a cell that will not accept information. Is this a common problem?
Let's say its 32B ... In row 32, =SUM(A32:J32
) adds all info except what number is in 32B.
Is there anything I can do to get it to work?
Thank you

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
How sure are you 32B does not have some text in - space + your number ?

I don't think you can have "dead cells" in Excel

OK, B32. Would you check whether this cell houses a number, using:

=ISNUMBER(B32) ?

Make sure that B32 is formatted with a number format other than Text, choose the Data | Text to Columns... menu command, and press [ Finish ].
