dealing with formula errors via formatting

Is it possible to create a custom format that would display a "-" instead of an #N/A?

I tried this [="#N/A"];"-" ... but it reverts back to [=0];"-"

Just curious on this one; I know I could deal with it via VB or through an ISNA formula, just want to know if it's possible...

It doesn't appear it is possible, I tried a few other ways, even [=NA()];"-" and still reverted to 0.

Looks like you will probably need to use a macro or isna in your formula.
