Dear All,

please see below Image, i have a usage plan like this, if solid colour means it is approved usage, if a hatched fill meanse it's a extended usage. in same manner i have several Approved usage and extensions for other colors. is there any way that i can make filled cells and hatched as variebles in VBA so that i can write Code to check how many are extended or approved?

for example:

usually we declare dim in vba set Myval=range("A1").value

in same manner
i need to create variable "A" as yellow fill
yellow with hatched cell as "A Ex" variable

and so on for other colors.

your help really appriciated.
