I have an inventory list. I want to be able to run a new file with part numbers and If it has any of the parts on the inventory list to automatically deduct them. The new file(2nd picture) has a quantity column. It is for one board. I want to be able to run the macro and add the new file and the macro will ask "How many boards" and do the math and deduct the parts from the inventory list. For example if a part is used 6 times on one board. It will ask "how many boards". The user will put a number, lets say 3. So if the new file has a part listed on the inventory it will deduct 45 parts from the quantity column. I want it to be able to automatically do this for all the parts on the new file. If the part is not found it will just ignore it.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
