Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me with something that I think should be so easy but I have yet been unable to find a solution.

Here goes:

In column B, I want to have a Data Validation List with simply Yes/No options. Easy.

The catch is that I want this column to default to Yes, when someone enters something into Column A.

So basically, IF A1 is not empty, default cell B1 to be Yes, but still have the list of Yes/ No options for the user to change it if they want.

Can anyone please help with this? Apologies if there is already a solution out there that I missed.

Thanks very much.
