I want to write a procedure and run it when the workbook open event triggers.
It will open two windows for the same workbook, side by side, a particular size and position, showing different worksheets in each. Is this possible? I did do some simple experimentation with it, and it's been very hit and miss. I don't expect a detailed answer, just a yes/no and perhaps a few pointer and/or web links. Also, can these settings be protected? Thanks.
Nigel

Ps. What does 'Post a Poll' (below) mean?

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
POST A POLL IS BENEATH THE DIALOGUE BOX YOU POST A NEW THREAD IN, MY FRIEND. WHAT AM I VOTING FOR, ANDREW? YOU GET MY VOTE ANDREW, YOU'VE BEEN A GREAT HELP OVER LAST FEW YEARS!

Well, I did record my efforts of course, that was my first port of call, but running the macro led to varied, i.e.unreliable results re: positioning. But if that's the way forward, I'll persevere. Thanks.

Ok, sorry. Being lazy. Found the solution. Wish I could spend more time learning Excel. Any fulltime EXcel jobs going out there? I'll work for peanuts!
