Defined Names formula use

Okay I am working from a worksheet have created a list of defined names in the documentaiton worksheet - in the invoice worksheet typing in cell G11 =City_State_Zip the definded names gives location as =Invoice !$B$5:$C$5
when I hit enter I get a Value error what am I doing wrong?

Do you want to return what's in the first cell in that range?

=INDEX(City_State_Zip,1)

Yes, it is suppose to take the information in those cells B5 & C5 and put them in G11.

Maybe you need:

=INDEX(City_State_Zip,1)&" "&INDEX(City_State_Zip,2)
