Degree Celcius sign in Excel

Hi All!

Is there anyway to put a degree celsius sign in excel?

Not sure if there is ne in windings, but i cant seem to find it.

I know in word you can go on insert>symbol...does excel have a function like this?

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Right click the cell
Format cells
Custom format is : 0 "°C"
Hodl the Alt key and press 0176 on the numbers kepad to add the °

Hi

Ansi code 186 in standard fonts looks a lot like a degree sign. Enter in a cell by:

Alt+0186

ie Hold down Alt + enter 0186 from the numeric keypad
