Hey everyone...is it possible using VBA, to select a range of data and delete everything that isn't a formula in that range? I have a report with thousands of cells, and i need to occasionally delete some of the data in different areas...it takes a long time trying to figure out which are formula, and which is hard coded data.

Thanks for any help,

Dave

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Hi,

does this work for you ?
Code:
ActiveSheet.Cells.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeConstants).ClearContents

kind regards,

PERFECT!!! I just changed it to:

Code:
Sub myDeleteNonFormula()
    Selection.Cells.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeConstants).ClearContents
End Sub

So I didn't have to delete the whole sheet!

Thanks a bunch! I really appreciate it!
