Hello, I have a sheet with thousands of cells containing various types of data. I need to eliminate all cells (not rows or columns) which contain the word "total". The cells contain varying text. For example: (A Total), (Car Total), etc. Basically any cell that the word "Total" appears. Thanks

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Try
Code:
Sub DeleteTotals()
Dim rngC, rngFinal As Range
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
For Each rngC In Range("A1:Z100")
    Debug.Print rngC
    If InStr(1, LCase(rngC.Value), "total") > 0 Then
        If rngFinal Is Nothing Then
            Set rngFinal = rngC
        Else
            Set rngFinal = Union(rngFinal, rngC)
        End If
    End If
Next rngC
rngFinal.ClearContents
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub
