I have a sheet whith some protected cells. I fill unprotected cells with a large number of data and print them. Then I try to delete that data using a macro (as in topic 666048) by selecting a range that includes protected and unprotected cells -it's very very difficult to reference to all cells I want to delete. However, the macro doesn't run giving errors like 'cannot write to protected cells' or 'cannot change part of a merged cell'.
Thanks in advance

Something like

Dim c As Range, rng
Set rng = Range("e13:m26")
For Each c In rng
If c.Locked = False Then
c.Value = ""
End If
Next c

If you have merged cells also:

Code:
Sub ClearMergedUnlocked()
' Clears cells that are unlocked and merged
    Dim rCell As Range, rRng As Range

    Set rRng = ActiveSheet.UsedRange
    For Each rCell In rRng
        If Not rCell.Locked Then
            rCell.MergeArea.ClearContents
        End If
    Next rCell
End Sub
