how can i state this in vba... if range("D") > than today( ) + 21 then delete that entire row. Checking the whole column and deleting all rows that are greater than 21 days past today's date.

Assuming that you have headings in row1 with data starting in row2, this could work for you:-

Application.ScreenUpdating = False

        With Sheet1.Range("D1", Sheet1.Range("D" & Sheet1.Rows.Count).End(xlUp))
                .AutoFilter 1, ">" & [Today()+21]
                .Offset(1).EntireRow.Delete
                .AutoFilter
        End With

Application.ScreenUpdating = True

End Sub

I've used the sheet code (Sheet1) as the sheet reference. You may have to change this.
