I want to automatically delete the thousand separator in this value. Can someone pls. help me with a Excel formula?

Peter's formula works for me as well. Here is an alternate formula that you can also try...
=TEXT(SUBSTITUTE(A2,".",""),"0\.00")
Perhaps your experience with it might help us narrow down why you are having a problem. If you do still have a problem, tell us about it in detail (see what Peter posted in Message #6 for the kind of details we would need to know)

Excel Facts
Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
