Delete

I copied some data off of a website onto my Excel sheet and in the process I also copied a drop down menu and a button. Now I am trying to get rid of the drop down menu and the button but it wouldn't co-operate. I have tried everything, from simple deleting to deleting the entire row/column. It doesn't work.

Can someone suggest a way to get rid of it?

It could be objects, try to click EDIT menu, Go To, Special, then check Objects. Then press delete.

Didn't work Patsys. It says "No Object Found"

Could try copy and paste special values into a new sheet if you don't need the formatting etc.

I am sorry, I didn't quite understand your solution. My intention is to delete it not copy to another place.

Can you post your sheet so we can see what kind of dropdown are you referring to?

Hi,

try this
display the CONTROLS-toolbar (ActiveX-controls)
click on the upperleft icon to get in edit mode
click + delete the controls
