Help,

I deleted my macros from a certain file to allow downloading from our intranet site to various locations, however, the "this worksheet contains macros" message still appears when the file is opened.

What have I not done to remove the macros completely?

Thanks

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Did you actually remove the modules in VBE?
Alt + F11
View- Projects Explorer
Right click on any visible modules and select Remove ModuleX.
Click no at the prompt to export the module, since yours are blank.
Repeat as necessary

jm,

Yes, I did delete the modules from VB. The message still appears each time the file is opened. The macros cause problems with our downloads due to firewall protection.

Thanks for the reply.

JM,

What I have left in the VBE is:

VBA Project
Microsoft Excel Objects
Sheet 1
Sheet 2
Sheet 3
This Workbook

There is nothing listed in any item.

I'm stumped.

Thanks
Darrell
