Hi-

I have created a template page in a workbook that have a list of items. There is a clone created of that worksheet, and then 15 copies of the clone created for different rooms. The template page is the master page, while the first clone page is used to do the mathematical operations tha are used. I am having trouble though when I want to add or delete items from the template page that the clone can't record that. The clone says that the reference number is missing and won't just delete that cell. Do you know if it is possible for this to be done?

Thank you,
Rebecca

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
hello Poly:
If the sheets are all in the same book you can delete or clear the same cell(s) on all sheets at the same time by just selecting all the sheet tabs first.

eg.
1) Select first sheet
2) Select last sheet while holding down shift key

Now when you delete or clear cells the same will happen to all sheets selected.

Thank you--

Now if I'm trying to add cells, I see that I can insert a line, but it won't reference my template page. Is there a way to make this occur?

Thank you!!

Sure--

I have a list of items created on the template page. I would like to add an item in the middle of the list. I would like this item added to the clone page, and then from there to the 15 pages that are copies of the clone page (all 15 pages have different names for different rooms). The clone page should reference the template page, but when I clicked all the worksheets to add a line, it would insert the line, but I can't get the clone page to reference the template page. Say it should be ='Template Page'!B24. Does that make sense? Please let me know if you'd like me to provide more information.

Thank you,
Rebecca

Couldn't this be done with the same concept that I described in my first posting ?
Eg. Select you 15 pages and then make the change on one and have it reflected in the others ?
