Deleting Duplicate Entries.. Please help if you can!

I am working in a list of 2500+ entries with some duplicate entries. I wish to create a list consisting of only the unique entries- to eliminate all duplicates. Is there a way to do this without going in manually and finding the duplicates and the originals??

select the list
go to data,filter,advanced filter,
,filter the list in place,unique records only

Thanks for your help!
I tried to do that with aldvanced filtering and it cut down my list but I still see some duplicate email addresses. Some of the duplicates are different cases, and some are absolutely identical.

Any ideas?

Hello

andreas@lalala.com seems the same with
andreas@lalala.com , but for excel it is not,because the space after.
You have to check for excessive spaces
, or copy the seemed identical to the other
and try filtering again.
