Deleting every other column with a macro

Hi,

I have a problem...

I have a frequent task of cleaning up data on a spreadsheet. Starting from column E, I need to delete every other column as it contains irrelevant data. After all of the irrelevant columns have been deleted there musn't be any gaps left in the remaining columns. EG, sheet contains data in column D, F, H, J that I want to keep, but I want columns E, G, and I removing from the sheet and all the columns shifting over to the left.

You could use the following crude macro and just include all the columns that need deleting.

Sub DeleteColumns()

Range("E:E,G:G,I:I").Select
Selection.Delete Shift:=xlToLeft
End Sub
