How do I delete these characters (little boxes?) at the end? There has to be an easy way, I have over 7K rows of data although not every row has these. Most have no space between them and the word they follow, others may have a comma.

R/O PE, TONIGHT IF POSSIBLE
CHEST PAIN R/O PE
R/O P.E., SOB
POSSIBLE CHOLECYSTITIS

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Not knowing what the ASCII char codes for the boxes makes this difficult, but try using the the TRIM function.

If that doesn't work, PM me with a location of a sample file.

Hi KyaPam

To remove non printable characters from a string, try:

=CLEAN(A1)

Hope this helps
