Deleting LIST

I created a list then a drop down box for that list however I want to delete the list and do it again in another sheet with different data - how do i delete the old list without deleting the data in it? Oh, and I want to keep the name of the list the same

go to Insert / Name / Define
click on the name and click delete

I have excel 2007 - I can't find Name on the toolbar?
