Hi there, hope all is doing good.
I created a pivot table where the data comes from the data model in power pivot.

In this pivot table, I put three filters so the users could select the team, the person and then a date.

I'm trying to figure out a way to make these three filters dependent, for example: if the users select team A first, then under the person filter list, it will only show the person names in team A. Slicers will be a good way, however, the client wants to have a drop-down list for the table.

I'm struggling to achieve this. For now, I have around 100 people overall, so whenever the user selects the team, they still have to go through the second filter and find the name of the person which is a pain. I appreciate all your help and thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Pivot table filters do not work that way, I'm afraid. Slicers are the simplest option unless your lists are fairly static.

Hi Rory, thanks. Yeah I think slicer is good, but trying to find a way to make slicers look like a drop down list as per client request. Thanks for your quick response though.
