Hi,

I am trying to create a straight line Depreciation schedule forecast in Excel , based on the asset register received , for the purpose of Forecast ,

Asset Current CostAccumulated DepreciationNet Book ValueDate Placed In ServiceLife In Years
15,597.5012,698.062,899.4412-May-201110

<colgroup><col><col><col><col><col></colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>

I want to calculate Depreciation of this asset on annual basis until April 2021 - where it take part of the month for the current year 2019 - as Asset register as 30th of June 2019 .

Please can you help me to write a formula 0 with If function - dont want to use macro for this small task
It shoule automatically stop calculating depreciation when total depreciation = to Cost of Asset in the year .
