From the VBA Help...

ActiveCell
Application.ActiveCell
ActiveWindow.ActiveCell
Application.ActiveWindow.ActiveCell

...are all equivalent. Each Excel window can have no more than one ActiveCell. It is the active cell in the currently active worksheet. If the active sheet is not a worksheet, any reference to the ActiveCell will return an error.
