Hi all big access n00b here.

I have two tables, table 1 and table 2, for sake of simplicity each one has two columns

Column A: autonumber
Column B: identifier (a unique ID i created for each record)

How can i tell the number of "identifiers" that existed on Table 1, that no longer exist on Table 2?
How can i tell the number of "identifiers" that did not exist on Table 1, that now exist on Table 2?

Big thanks!
:)

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

Access has a "Find Unmatched Query Wizard".
Use that to do what you want between the two tables (find the records in one that do not exist in the other).
It walks you right through the whole process.
