Thanks in Advance...

Excel Facts

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
myversion = Application.Version

Example:

MsgBox "Welcome to Microsoft Excel version " & _
Application.Version & " running on " & _
Application.OperatingSystem & "!"

project_man,

In addition to the reply above:

<pre>
Function XLversion() As String
Dim sVersion As String
sVersion = Val(Application.Version)

Select Case sVersion
Case 7: XLversion = "95 / 5.0"
Case 8: XLversion = "97 / 8.0"
Case 9: XLversion = "2000 / 9.0"
Case 10: XLversion = "2002 / 10.0"
Case 11: XLversion = "2003 / 11.0"
End Select
End Function
</pre>

Kind regards,
Dennis
