Hello,

Is it possible to develop an Excel 2010 solution with the runtime, so that the users do not need Excel installed?

If yes, please could you tell me how I can implement this?

Many thanks,
Alain

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
While a user doesn't need specifically Excel to "view" a file, they would need to use some software package or web service. I don't think you can create a self-contained Excel workbook that is viewable by all without the use of some other software or web service. Is that what you're asking?

Microsoft makes a free Excel Viewer

OpenOffice is freeware similar to MS-Office

Google Chrome and other web browsers offer various tools to view, and in some cases, edit Excel files.

Yes, that's what I thought.

My project needs to use macro and API, so I will use Access instead :)

Thanks,
Alain
