Hi,
Is it possible to devide all numbers positive and negative in a column when the column is selected or do I need a macro.

Thank you for your help

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Andonny,

You can use Paste Special.

Type 10 into a cell then copy (edit/copy)
Highlight all the "destination" cells and then select Edit/Paste Special
Select Multiply from the options in the window. Then OK.

Hope that helps.

Hi, Andonny.

I think, if you want this to occur upon selection of the column, you'll need a SelectionChange macro.

A way you can easily do this manually is to place the number 10 somewhere in an unused cell and then copy it to the clipboard. Highlight the column or range you want to divide by it, and Edit>Paste Special, and choose "Divide".
